Men, what do you look for in a lady?

She has to be playful, brilliant, a sexy dresser, artistic, leaning liberal, prefer Macs, be willing to break one totally wrong law on a regular basis (or at least have a permit if the state allows it), enjoy pure pot still whiskey, aim straight even though she doesn't own a gun anymore, enjoy toys, dig Romantic movies, beach walks, skinny dipping, earn more than me, kiss at least once an hour, if not more, do yoga, meditate, enjoy opera, classical, jazz, and rock, especially singer-songwriters, play guitar, piano, enjoy organic microbrews, like Shakespeare, teach English (at least in the past), never give in during a debate to make me feel better, never put up with me acting like an ass, sleep cuddling, did I mention the kissing part?

I must be lucky, because I found one! If I lose her, I will never try again, that's for sure. Who could follow perfection?

^ Oh well, I strayed today and flirted with the hand hygiene monitor instead.

For ~ME~ personally...I'm old enough to want a lady that's got her head screwed-on-straight. A (if possible, "full-time") job, I don't care what kind at this point. If you don't want kids as ladies today are still "just having fun", be ready for me to try to get out of further dates with you.

I'm looking for a woman that's traveled a little, found out who she is, made her mistakes, and (let's hope) learned from them.

My mother is at home, retired & on a disability pension for ongoing depression. My sister no longer lives with her, so I've been asked to move in & keep an eye on her.

I'm looking for marriage and kids at 34 years old. Stability, sanity and clear/consistant boundaries so I can bring you home to my family at Thanksgiving/Christmas without fear of a public meltdown over whether or not I fully disclosed the possibility of babies/toddlers at the dinner table, even though none of them belong specifically to me.

I'm not into being put financially/professionally, romantically, and personally on-hold until I'm 40-plus years old. I'm a strong believer in "step up, put a wedding/engagement band on my left hand; or, get the fuck out of my life 100%". Three words: Personal Protection Order.

I'm not into being third-rate & second-class because I genuinely believe in long term monogamy in a day and age of A.I.D.S. / H.I.V., Sugar-Mammas/Daddies, "Happily Married With Kids" Seeking Fuck-Buddies, Friends-With-Benefits, One-Night-Stands, etc.

I'm not into waiting around for someone that wants to live with one foot out the door ("what if something better comes along"), meanwhile running the risk of contracting the various 'classic' S.T.I.'s (Herpes, Et Al.) and thinking nothing of bringing them home to me. Thank you but no thank you.

Body type isn't important, save for no exceptionally thin bone-racks that can be shoved headfirst through a keyhole without the slightest injury. Give me a normally-proportioned WOMAN that (god forbid hit puberty somewhere along the line) eats three square meals a day & nicely fills out a deep U-neck summer dress.

Bible-thumpers need not apply. EVER. Social drinkers & social smokers are fine.

I'm a neanderthal, I admit it. I want a woman who is pretty and horny (or at least willing) with an average weighted body (not too fat, not to thin) and B-C cup breasts. I like her to be articulate and well-read and politically interested -- but willing to support my position (at least publicly) even if she disagrees. She should be an atheist, or at least rational enough to understand that the Bible is mythology, and have no objection to being a homemaker. She should also be social, enjoying getting involved in community events, and etc.

In the ideal, of course. :)

See? My point exactly? ;) Don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm bitter about it, it's just a fact of life that many women like more boyish, pretty men rather then manly, handsome men. Different strokes, and it's just an observation that how much I ever work out I'm not going to be pretty. Then again, I'd rather be handsome.

It's more a sign of the times, really. Back in the day, rugged, hairy men were all the rage. :p

I'm outdated, then! I love rugged, hairy men. Generally, I'm not attracted unless they sport a 4 o'clock shadow at noon and have a beast growing on their chest. Now, hygiene is important, of course. Trees always look taller when the undergrowth is maintained. But smooth, baby-faced, boyish dudes don't turn me on. At all.

I meant it literally. Meaning: If being smooth, baby-faced and boyish is a turnoff, does this extend to the top of the head - as in, us bald guyz. :alienblush:

Yes, I know what you meant, Baba.

I feel like the last dirty old man in a land of innocents, which is strange for this board.

*puts on chest wig* Busy tonight? ;)

As for the facial hair thing, my preference is to shave every other day, as doing so more frequently irritates the skin. Plus, it gives just a hint of a rugged look. Alas, these days I have to look "professional" so it's burn my face off every day!

Isn't good to be outdated? :) Good to see that there are some women that like the kind of man I am.

To be completely honest I've tried to get together with a lot of women that are wrong for me. More often then not women that count more as girls and such I shouldn't be surprised that they like boys.

Women with big hands, did we cover big hands? hairy big hands! yep.
