Spoilers Maul - Shadow Lord Animated Series

And it definitely fits a general overall theme in the Star Wars storytelling. Obi-Wan lost his master. Luke lost his master. Kanan lost his master. Ezra lost his master. The master always gives way to the apprentice. "They are what we grow beyond. That is the true burden of all masters."
 
Dryden's ship looked very reminiscent of the Imperial Agent's ship in Old Republic.

Guess they couldn't get Clancy Brown back to voice any new lines since 11 didnt speak. Guess all the flashbacks were recycled audio.
 
Aren't Rylee and Two Boots now wanted fugitives by the Empire? I don't think going to his mother would end well for either of them.

Not sure I would have caught it without the closed captions, but Devon's voice changed a bit near the end when she was raging out. Nifty little detail!

And backing up quite a bit, I found it odd that when Maul broke into the police station, he was indiscriminately killing everyone until he came across Captain Lawson. Who he just punched in the face.
 
I wonder how the big fight would have gone if Daki and Maul hadn't both been seriously injured? Vader would probably still win but not so easily.
 
Overall I found this show very disappointing. It had some cool action but its plot was very bare bones and the whole season seemed to just be set up for something else. They could have trimmed out so much and lost nothing, hopefully season 2 is better.
 
Season was fun, that Master Daki would die was very predictable of course. I am not sure if I am going to continue the show with my favorite characters gone, Master Daki and Lawson( I don't think he is dead) but still
