Spoilers Maul - Shadow Lord Animated Series

Vader doesn't speak. Perhaps because of the SAG-AFTRA backlash last year, regarding the recreated Vader voice in Fortnite
They've used other voice actors as Vader in games and stuff before, so I have a feeling it was more of a creative choice than anything like that.
What was really weird, is that they didn't get Paul Bettany to voice Dryden Vos. Who they got wasn't a good soundalike
Yeah, that surprised me. I wonder why he didn't do this?, he did voice Vision and Jarvis in What If? so he's not totally against voicing animated version of his live action characters on TV.

I was pretty shocked by the body count in this one, I was pretty much expecting Master Daki to die so his death was not a surprised, but Spybot, Lawson, and the Mandos and Nightbrothers were a big surprise. I'm especially sad to see Lawson and Spybot go, they were of my favorite characters.
Even though I was expecting Master Daki to die, the way Maul used him to get away from Vader was pretty messed up, It's totally within his character to that, but it's stilled messed up.
The big action scenes with the Inquisitors and the Vader were awesome, some of the best we've ever gotten in animated Star Wars.

These were great episodes.

Just as a "by the way", this experience has made me turn off the discover feed customization on my new tab page, since the very first link today fed to me was a blatant spoiler. This is why we can't have good things, as the saying goes.

I don't think Lawson is dead. We never saw the body. Plus, Lawson saw what happened to Master Daki so I can see him coming back to tell Devon what happened, which will make her turn against Maul. Plus, with the actor just coming off an Academy Award nomination, I could see Disney wanting to keep him as part of the franchise.

Maul didn't betray them?

I mean he skipped out on Daki, but that's probably because he was wounded, and Devon was in trouble, so that's hardly being underhanded, since beating Vader seemed all but impossible.

Good series ( really good!) but the end epiosde while exciting, was a slight let down. Maul wasn't at his best with is robolegs being damaged, so didn't get as good a fight as I was hoping. Was hoping for Ahsoka/Maul level from the last season of Clone Wars, and EPIC fight. But maybe next time.

Lawson is alive, when they don't "Show the Body" it leaves it open.

Paul didn't voice Vos? Sounded JUST like him.. owell.
