Oh......I remember Femshep decking some reporter in the first game when I played it many moons ago.

That just the news reporter gal on the Citadel.
I don’t get why people like hitting her. I found it funnier to be truthful with her, making the your bosses mad.

    So here's a thing . . .
First off; if that's the new hero ship, it's tiny! Hopefully if this is a thing you have in the game then it's the equivalent of the shuttle/mako/nomad. Something that gets taken down to planets to drop off and/or act as a forward base, or maybe even fly around the map, and the actual ship is something much bigger; like cruiser or even dreadnaught/mobile station sized.
Secondly; the four figures are clearly Liara; a Krogan with suspiciously similar fashion tastes as Wrex, what looks like a turian, and some indeterminate figure that could be human, quarian, drell, asari. or literally any roughly human shaped species or mech.
Thirdly; Legion? Why is your face a crater?
Lastly; they appear to be walking towards *something* about half way up the depression. Can't tell what but it's too big to be a body, and just looks like a twisted piece of wreckage. . .

Of course none of this proves anything, but it does feel like my assumption that they're using 'Destroy' as the canon ending is holding true. Also weirdly the implication that the Geth (and EDI) could be repaired?

If it is destroy then Sheppard could still be alive.

Khalisah al-Jilani is the journalist you can punch and you can still do that. Actually though she has a decent scene in ME3 if you Paragon her.

I suppose with Allers she is a small war asset and otherwise you can mostly ignore her so why not say yes.

Bit surprised how close the endings are - I thought destroy would be more dominant.

I'm in the middle of a renegade playthrough of the legendary edition and finding it much harder to make some of those choices. I always preferred Paragon and the vast majority of decisions I much prefer to skew that way but I've never found it so tough to chose the renegade option before. Maybe with lots of bad things in the world the more peaceful/respectful side of Mass Effect becomes more appealing.

Ooh if the Destroy ending is canon what could we do with Reaper wreckage?

You guys have seen the teaser from last year, right? Both those things are right there . . .

Almost as many people chose 'Destroy' as the other two major options combined; so it's not really that close, it's just that there's even more of a gap between 'Synthesis' and 'Control'.
I've done both a pure renegade and a pure paragon playthrough, and honestly I found them both rather difficult to enjoy from that perspective.
The system works best when you treat it the way it's supposed to work and have your Shepard react to each individual instance in accordance with the personality and temperament you've chosen for them instead of chasing an esoteric point based end goal.
My first (and main) Shepard wound up being mostly Paragon with a bit of a Renegade streak; but that wasn't by design, just a natural result of playing her as a character who tries to do the right thing, but will still 100% renegade interrupt a merc right out the damn window if the situation calls for it...or if he pisses her off enough. Context is everything.

It didn’t make sense that destroying the Reapers couldn’t be done without destroying all AI in the universe anyway so I’d be fine with that retcon.

Yeah but it means also that stuff can be repaired like the relays and EDI, I love EDI

I thought it was pretty blatant that they only threw in that complication to try and make Destroy less obviously the best choice.

I don't disagree with the sentiment, and I would also welcome a retcon, but I can quite easily see a scenario where the method to knock out all reapers everywhere while leaving their hardware seemingly intact would have a similar effect to any complex neural-net. The hardware could be physically repaired but the AI's themselves are just gone. Erased on a quantum level ; The synthetic equivalent of brain death.
Even without that; both EDI and the Geth were using reaper code and/or hardware, so inheriting the same vulnerability--whatever it may be--does have a logic to it. I don't like it, but I can't claim it lacks credibility.

I'd rather they leave the end in tact and come up with a plausible way to save the Geth and other AI.

OK in 2 seconds I came up with a solution the writers couldn't
The Geth had offline backups of their stored personalities, as did EDI

I mean it's made-up sci-fi space magic BS, so you can invent any hand-wavey nonsense you like and it'll be equally as plausible as what was originally intended.

So yeah, they could just say the Geth servers and EDI's systems where physically repaired and rebooted, while the reapers weren't because 1) they're too advanced and nobody would even know how to even begin to attempt that, and 2) nobody would be that stupid in the first place. That said, the idea of a partially repaired reaper core, stripped out of it's shell, free of a catalyst's control but still shackled being used for some nefarious purpose could be a thing.

That said, I could see just straight up salvaging reaper corpses also being a thing in this new future setting. Not just for the physical materials and crazy advanced tech components, but for scraps of data and code too. Each of those things contained the sum total knowledge of an entire species; just one of them has to make the Prothean archive on Mars look like chump change by comparison.

I always thought that the Remnant in ME-A were a distant cousin of Reapers

I had a pet theory that the Remnant were what became of the post synthesis milky-way species, but the timing doesn't quite work, even if they did get to Andromeda way faster than the arks. Failing that they could have been the progeny of a refugee species from a previous cycle, I mean The Andromeda Initiate couldn't have been the only milky-way species to try for Andromeda between harvests in the last billion years or so.

Though I suppose the same could be said for the Kett, which I guess says more about how underdeveloped both factions in the game were than anything else.

    Greys Anatomy.

My theory is that the audience drinks two bottles of wine while watching each new episode, so it doesn't have to be good any more.
