^I'm sure that'll happen at some point anyway, I mean it's the last game, no?
Apparently it's not just a new paint job but a total refurb inside and out, so it really may as well be a different ship regardless. Not that I'm complaining; just copy/pasting the old hub map would have been exceedingly cheap--even if the basic layout will be more or less the same anyway.
That's a thought actually; what new additions do we all think the Normandy SR2.1 could do with and what could it stand to loose? Personally I vote for it having more than two private quarters. Seriously, did Tali, Jacob, Mordin, Joker, Kelly, Dr. Chakwas and Garrus all have to share a bunk rotation with the rest of the crew? That must have been...crowded. While conversely I think the room dedicated to ejecting cubes of rubbish should go. I mean what happened to omnigel recycling? Did fixing the locks put the omnigel people out of business or something?!
She built it from scratch with her omni-tools.^Which rather begs the question, how she managed to get that stuff on the ship without anyone noticing...?
You know it rather bothered me how freely you were allowed to come and go on the Citadel in a Cerberus ship. Omega and Illium sure, but the Citadel? The Normandy should have been impounded as soon as it cleared the mass relay. For that matter, even being able to visit the Sol System feels a bit odd as one would assume you have to pass through Arcturus first, and that system must be a fortress.

Oh sure. I was being a tad facetious too.Leaving aside for a second that I was being a tad facetious, I was thinking more in terms of her collection. I just have an amusing mental image of those crew members sat in the bunk room as Kasumi sneaks back and forth past their doorway carrying paintings, and several boxes of romance novels without anyone, including EDI being the wiser.![]()
^Would that be the dreadnought that got suddenly overwhelmed by a massive swarm of Geth ships? Yeah, real glass jaw that one.![]()
Despite the name, a single dreadnought is not invincible, it can only operate effectivly as part of a larger formation. In that instance they were taken totally by surprise, not remotely ready to defend against a sudden and coordinated attack. With the Turian fleet cut off and wrecked by Sovereign, it's a wonder the Destiny Ascension lasted as long as it did against such a sustained barrage (or not, if you let it blow up.)
Anyway, none of that has anything to do with being able to spot one ship with terrorist markings plastered all over it or the fact that fleet security *was* greatly increased after the Geth attack.
Where was the main gun they were talking about?
