Mass Effect 2

Talking to her at all seems to open up the option. She practically wants to jump me right off the bat.
It's real easy to mess that up, though - I didn't invite her up for dinner, so she neither fed my fish nor... entertained me.

Damn, I shoulda talked to Kelly more... :(

Strange...I talked to her all the time but she just regurgitated the stuff about having a message or one of the crew wanting to see me (playing as a male Shepard).

I'll have to try again with my female Shepard. :D

EDIT: I take that back...my Yeoman Chambers didn't make it back alive so I have no idea if she would've given me the lapdance or not. Gotta rescue her next time!

There was a female female option in ME2? You sure about that?

Yup.
As a fem or male Shepard you can have sex with Kelly apparently (the secretary).
Haven't tried it myself, but saw it (and no, it was not a mod).
Yeah, that completely doesn't count. For starters you don't even know if they have sex or not. But if you really feel like having guy on guy action then go out and pick up Dragon's Age

Oh, btw, has anyone figured out exactly where on the first Normandy the escape pods were? I had a wonder around the prologue mission to see were T'soni (or Ashley or Kaiden) buggered off to. I can't figure out where the door to the "escape tunnel" is supposed to be.
Here's a rough guess about where they were externally:

As for internally? There were probably special bulkheads that descended or broke away on the crew deck to allow access to the pods.

That was my thought too, but if that's the case then they closed up again by the time you walk through. Looking at the sequence, you get a brief glimpse of a hallway around 4:02 though no hint as to where it intersects. I suppose, given which side of the ship it was on it could only really be either off from the medical bay or the lab/storage area behind it. It couldn't be on the upper deck as that was the first place to get hit hit badly was was already breached by the time you send Ashley/Liara/Kaiden to the pods.

I'm sure I've said it, but this game series is already in my list of top 3 space opera's (just below Babylon 5). If this was ever done as a decent TV series I'd be an avid fan. :)

Really got to give kudos to Bioware. Given KOTOR, Mass Effect, Dragon Age(even if I personally didn't think it's story was all that good) and from what I've seen of SW:TOR, Bioware really does have a cinematic flare. To a certain point they're doing a much better job then most sci-fi TV shows and movies, then even used the shakey cam responsibly.

It's there, in a form of a lap dance for one thing, and for the other, Kelly ends up in bed with Shepard in the same pose like other romance-able characters, implying a sexual encounter despite it wasn't seen directly (which is the case for other characters as well).

I picked up Dragon Age way before ME2.
Zefran was not exactly my cup of tea ... although Alistair (who can be modded to be romance-able by a male character, and there's a full animation followed up as well) was.
:D

It's odd ... Dragon Age seems to have offered all options (and anims to boot), yet ME is limited.
Pity ... a sci-fi genre is much more to my liking in contrast to the fantasy/medieval setting.

So when you have sex you put your clothes back on afterwards to cuddle?

I would have thought that subtext as blatant as that found in ME2's romantic scenes wouldn't be so lost on the audience.

They don't have to cut to full-on Xenoporn to show (or heavily imply) that intercourse took place, ffs.

Not that it makes much difference either way. I've seen more graphic things before the watershed than what was in ME1. I really don't get what all the fuss was all about but I understand someone at Bioware trying to avoid attracting that kind of attention a second time (though the cynic in me thinks it might have boosted sales.) Still, it all seams a but ludicrous given Jack's main outfit.

I'm sure sooner or later someone with do some dodgy nude patch and those so inclined will get to see some pixelated boobs.

...having said all that, I have to say some naff clothes on grinding is a small price to pay to be saved from the possibility of getting even a glimpse of Garrus naked.

Recheck the 'sex scenes' with other romance-able characters.
They are ALL wearing clothes while cuddling after the supposed 'sex' happened.
:D

I've just watched them all on YouTube and Jack is the only one to put her clothes on afterwards, and considering how little she wears it is conceivable that she kept them on during the act. ;) For the other characters it appears to be the same cuddle action you can have with Kelly, which to me doesn't have any sexual connotations. Cuddling doesn't imply sex, some people just like to cuddle.

It's probably lesbianism though.

Started my last mission for my Renegade Femshep:

Sold Legion for scrap metal and I sent Jacob into the ducts (cause I wanted him to die). Also didn't send anyone back to escort the crew. Might reload to save the crew, but I'm cool with it either way. Stopped at that point.

I also started a new Hardcore playthrough with my BruceWillisShep

On my second play-through. I was amused by a Babylon 5 reference. There's a planet called Vir, which "is ignored by most of the galaxy."

It's not one of the mission planets, just one of those random "scan and leave" places. My ring finger got tired of holding down the right button, so I just edited my save game to give me 200,000 resources and just read the descriptions.

I thought that the wink would have given it away, but I was making a joke about how I ignored it. Apologies for being unclear. :p
