I have somewhere a TPB of the first several issues. The Marvel Conan is awesome, love the sci-fi elements in it. I have no idea how similar that aspect of it is to the source material.

Are there any fans here of the various old comics Marvel produced featuring Robert E. Howard's fantasy character Conan? They included Conan the Barbarian, Savage Sword of Conan, King Conan, and Conan the Savage. I have an idea a lot of REH purists don't hold them in very high regard, which perhaps isn't all that surprising, but I wondered what people here think.

I liked them all especially The Savage Sword of Conan because it would sometimes feature not only Conan adventures, but other REH stories with Solomon Kane, etc.
