^ Beat me to it. I'm so hyped for the Punisher. Looks like the rumors of Daredevil debuting the same week as BvS were false. What a surprise... Not. Trailer [yt]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JWCf1fqO6hA[/yt]
I think this was the best show of 2015, easily ranks with classic Trek, Game of Thrones and the Wire as for the last pic ?
The Sistine Chapel? Yeah, almost certainly an influence. Very exciting. Sounded like all season one clips, though, right?
That was a heck of a trailer and I'm looking forward to March. From March to June is going to be great for TV. Daredevil, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Orphan Black, Orange is the New Black. Can't wait.
I hope there will be courtroom scenes. I hope they take some inspiration from the story Child's Play, which is perfectly set up for a season like this one.
Yeah, there were parts of the first season where I forgot they were lawyers. That one episode where there was a courtroom scene was pretty good because we got to see Matt and Foggy do some Lawyer work. Would love to go back to that some in Season 2.
I wished they had more clients, built their practice and things like that. I don't know if I needed more that was crucial to the plot, but I kept asking "how do they still have money?"

Oh yeah! This is going to be a great season. I was about to say that I can't wait to see the Elektra trailer, then she shows up and it's reveal that there is indeed another one coming.
Never read or watched a single Punisher anything, but I'm a fan of Bernthal and, overall, enjoyed the last season. I'm very interested in whether there is going to be a typical central "Big Bad" a la Kingpin, or whether the Punisher and Elektra will be more antagonists of conscience for Murdock as they highlight the darker corners of his psyche as he continues to bring "light" to Hells Kitchen. With Danny Rand coming up with his own show soon, I think the second season of DD is a good place to begin to fold in some of the more mystical elements of this "Defenders" Universe. There are clear motifs of mysticism in the first season, it would be nice to see that expanded further so, when Iron Fist screens, it is not a huge jolt to the audience and their expectations. With the grounded, hyper-violent militaristic nature of Castle, perhaps offset this with Elekra's side by pushing a more mystical side to her vigilante-heroine-for-hire side. I know many people are concerned that Goddard and DeKnight are no longer heading up any of the writing for the show, but I'm interested in seeing what Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez can do. Both are fabulous writers (IMO) and this trailer gives me hope that they are building on what Goddard/DeKnight started last season Hugo - will binge watch this sucka. Weekend off work for once!
"You're only one bad day away from being me." Didn't the Joker once say the same to Batman? Was it in Killing Joke?
Loved the Elektra tease. This looks like an incredible season and I won't wait till Christmas to see it.
Why would you wait until Christmas? It comes out in March. Wow that is a great trailer. I'm not familiar with The Punisher, but it does look like Bernthal did a great job in general. I can't wait to see Part Two of the trailer. I wonder if Punisher will actually be the big bad of the whole season, or if they will introduce a big bad who brings him and DD together?
