$90 for that? I love Legos but come on.

Also, that's not Tombstone. The description list says Tarantula, Scorpion, Boomerang, and Hotdog Vendor.

Wait. Hotdog Vendor?! But...why?

“Something’s coming, something we may not be able to deter,” said Patrick Stewart’s Professor Xavier. “Before this day is done, we will be faced with an unthinkable decision.”

My mind jumps to "Which universe will live and which universe dies?"

The ultimate decision will be "We'll all live on one united universe." This could be how the X-men and other mutants join the MCU.

Later movies will show the beginnings of Mutant hate as people shun these newcomers that have to live on a new earth/universe

"We don't want them here!"

I've seen some try to spin it as "Marvel needed to be brought down to earth, now we get cheaper movies where people can be more creative with the budget".

The 'only' Marvel Studio VFX folks they sacked were admin folks, back office coordinators and the like. They get freelance effects houses to do all their VFX for the movies, these folks were the ones coordinated all that. Which basically means there's more work for someone else/whoever's left. But considering they've gone from 3-4 films a year to 3 over 2, maybe they just don't need them at the moment until Phase 7 starts.

Untrue. They laid off the entire visual development team, the artists and designers responsible for the look of Marvel Studios films. These are the people who design the characters, the costumes, the scenery, the equipment, everything about the look of Marvel films and shows for the past decade or more. It's not about the freelance VFX houses, because the VFX teams don't have anything to create until the in-house concept artists and designers have decided what it should look like. This is like if Marvel Comics laid off all its pencilers.

They said they're only keeping "a small team to oversee the hiring of artists on a project-by-project basis who will be outside contractors going forward," which implies that they fired everyone except the administrative staff.
