What grade would you give the Marvel Cinematic Universe? (Ever-Changing Question)

Boycotts don't really work IMO. These companies know that what they sale has lots of people wanting it. Sooner or later people will come back or never leave. Soon this news story about Kimmel will fade in the past and people will barely remember why they were upset to begin with and will be more focused on whatever shitstorm of a story happening in their present

. It would be worst also if Kimmel was actually funny. Right or not but outrage can sometimes correlate to the level of talent being fucked over. Their is a reason why Disney backed down when they fired James Gunn and it wasn't because they came to their moral senses.

That's what they said about Disney firing James Gunn. But there was enough backlash that they brought him back, at least long enough for him to wrap up his movies and then he left on his own after.

I know. What I mean though is it easy to bring him back when it's worth the risk of any fallout because he is really talented and it would have hurt their next Guardians movie. People might go to bat for KImmel on principles but I doubt even half of people upset even find him or his show to be funny. This the exact reason why Jon Stewart doesn't have to worry or South Park didn't have to worry about being canceled even if Trump was upset. Their talent is worth the fight.

Doesn't matter, he's got enough people rallying around him to cause enough of a stink to make the FCC reconsider.

I can see it happening. But I think it will only happen when the heat on liberals cools down and the impact of Kirk's murder feels less raw. LIke with most news stories people get bored and move on and soon nobody will care one way or another. Then that is when he will likely return. Jack Black had a similar thing happen to him when Kyle Gass made that joke about wanting the killer to have hit Trump. They "broke up" for like 5 minutes and stopped their tour but soon enough people stopped caring and they went back to normal.

It's already cooling down with the Administration's increasingly tonedeaf responses like trying to have all media coverage of Government actions censored and how all the attempts to prove the shooter was some deviant failed.
 
I think the killers story has just began. We got a trial and everything. I do think the excessive censorship push story is slowly dying down. Ironically it helps that we know the killer was left leaning because that removes most conspiracy theory stuff though of course their is always people out their pushing a Israel one. Also the story changes when it goes from companies firing people for insensitive jokes and some not so great celebrating to Government wanting to Censor the internet. That is actually something I think most people on the left and right don't want to see happen.

I think I've made it clear how much I hate Trump and everything he's doing, but I honestly can't say if I will boycott them, I have absolutely no self control and don't think I can go cold turkey on all of the stuff Disney makes. But I do fully support the people who are stronger than me and can give up that stuff.

The FCC made a Fascistic threat against ABC (well, all media outlets, really); therefore, the appropriate response would be to protest the federal government, not boycotting anything and everything associated with Disney.

Getting this thread back on-topic, does anybody have any general hopes/wishes for Born Again S3?

I'd personally like to see Claire Temple come back because she's really the only Defenders Saga character who's directly linked to Matt whom we haven't gotten back yet (I didn't forget about Elektra, but I don't trust that bringing her back from the dead wouldn't domino into the return of Wanda Maximoff, which is something that I don't want).
