It also brings the funk.
I have the complete opposite reaction, he's way to big of a character to limit to just this one series. He's a big multiseries villain in the comics, it would be nice to see his MCU counterpart be the same. Not to mention Sacha Baron Cohen was great in the role, and it sounds like Ironheart won't continue, so I'd hate to see it be his one and only appearance.So... regarding that character from the end of Ironheart, I'm not a comics guy, but I hope his appearing in Ironheart means that he'll stay in that series, and that Feige doesn't plan on making him a major part of any MCU movie. Even if he's not precisely the Satan of Biblical mythology, as I understand it, he's basically the Marvel version of The Devil, and that's just too monotheistic a concept for my tastes, and for this universe. Shang-Chi establishing that souls are an actual thing went far enough in that direction, IMO.

Monotheism and polytheism exist side by side in Marvel Comics and the MCU.
Between Superman, FF and the new season of SNW, I'm going to overdose on buttered popcorn this month. LOL

No Jurassic Park?![]()
That movie came out 30 years ago, and to this day is the only one I've seen. I will probably see the Lost World at some point because it is an actual sequel and I do want to see all of Spielberg's films at least once.
I saw the first two.No Jurassic Park?![]()
Also, in the comics, aren't there multiple levels of higher powers (The One Above All, the Brothers, the Living Tribunal, the Asgard, etc.) who could be considered or claimed to be God or Satan? So he's the Devil, Why is that a problem? Monotheism and polytheism exist side by side in Marvel Comics and the MCU. Mephisto, Hades and a host of other entities can gather souls for various reasons.
As an aside, Marvel had a host of "Devils" for a while. Ghost Rider was given his powers by Satan. Doctor Strange fought one called "Satannish." Damien Hellstrom was the Son of Satan. He has a sister named "Satana". Lucifer has popped up a few times, a well.
A few of Marvel's "evil entities" have pretended to be the Devil, Lucifer and Satan saying that they don't exist. And the Deviant Kro pretended to be "The Devil" in the past. OTOH, Marvel was less shy about using Satan as a real entity at other points in their history. The aforementioned Son of Satan, Ghost Rider and Satana in the 70s for example. Moved way from that in the 80s for some reason. They seem to prefer using Mephisto as the Devil in more recent books. Also, in the comics, aren't there multiple levels of higher powers (The One Above All, the Brothers, the Living Tribunal, the Asgard, etc.) who could be considered or claimed to be God or Satan?
Probably for the same reason Thor doesn't throw down with Jehovah. It's a little touchy.A few of Marvel's "evil entities" have pretended to be the Devil, Lucifer and Satan saying that they don't exist. And the Deviant Kro pretended to be "The Devil" in the past.
