Eh, I guess, I'm too old for puns. That's something I refuse categorically.
So you are saying you want us to
paws on these jokes?
I can't think of any young puns right now.... but i think no matter the name, i believe there was, at some point, an intention to have a younger set of Avengers, even if not called that, to appeal to the next generation. KInda like Disney channel had shows that starred teenagers/young adults for shows that the main audience we younger kids.
Definitely Ms. Marvel & Spider Man, are very "relatable" to my daughters in terms of how they tell the story and the characters, personality wide.
However, i think the buddy chemistry in Hawkeye would have definitely allowed Yelena to be a part of it too. I think depending on the success of Thunderbolts, she
could be another character that they want to have all over the MCU
Future success of the MCU will depend on newer generations, such as the one not even born yet when the MCU started, to get excited about it
I do agree it
feels like they won't get around to it until they all become middle age Avengers
And for me , that line up could like like this: America, Ms. Marvel, Wiccan, IronHeart, with Shang Chi, SPider Man and Yelena (who, yeah, i know, is just a couple years younger thna Black Widow, but totally plays into the new generation's sensibilities). Not sure if they can sustain more than that
For Older Avengers: Sam, Shuri, Falcon, Dr. Strange and some strong being (maybe Sentinel?). SOrry drawing a blank for the moment.
By Avengers 6, they might phase out Thor and Banner (unless they can get a movie for him)
