Yeah, that's fair (what, io9 made a mistake in one of their articles? NEVER!). I gave them the benefit of the doubt (at the time of my original post) because I thought they were reporting what had been stated at the convention itself. The fact that no one else has seemed to have reported it supports that it may have indeed been a mistake.I think that perhaps the author of that article simply made a mistake, possibly confused by Ross's nickname and the title of the the movie following the movie that he's actually appearing in. Here is an article from yesterday from the same site that is specifically about the cast of Thunderbolts*, and Ford is not even mentioned.

And yeah, I saw that io9 article earlier today and wasn't surprised they didn't say anything about Ford. But, to be fair, they're only talking about what was seen in the actual trailer. Not saying it's proof that Ford is in it, just saying that it's still a possibility.
I imagine there's still plenty we don't know about this film that hasn't been revealed yet.
