And he came up an idea. Not seeing a problem.

Yeah, only someone with severe cognitive dissonance would believe that post Endgame was going to be reset. Not even sure why you think bringing it up means anything,

His big idea being "Instead of a real plot, I'll just bring back Jackman and put him in costume! Beats actually writing!"

No, folks were seriously hoping for some retcon movie to eradicate everything from Phase 4 and that this would be it. It's getting sick.

Kahhori will be making her comics debut in November with a Marvel Voices one-shot celebrating Native American Heritage Month.
I'm not surprised to see her popping up in the comics, I thought the reaction to her What If...? episode was positive. I'm pretty sure I liked it.
What's that? Actual news and speculation in this thread? Crazy!

Here's some more:

Simu Liu says a second Shang-Chi film is still in the works but can't say anymore:

A lot of it is above my pay grade but it’s definitely happening. So, just very excited to kind of work on it and it’s going to be amazing. I really can’t say anything beyond that.
And some more speculation, this time from Charlie Cox and potentially joining the Avengers:

I have to be so careful. Look, I can't!; I'm not going to say, there's so many. There's one particular group of people that I would like to be invited to play with... [Cheers] But we'll get into that a little bit later.

I did, there's no real plot beyond "Wade and Deadpool fart around in the Void and bicker for most of the movie and meet other gutless fanservice characters."

Oooh, fun, we're doing badly explained movie plots. I can do those:

Three frenemies dick around on their way to a cemetery. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Man going through a midlife crisis helps his grieving co-worker to enjoy life again. Lethal Weapon

A group of people talk out a disagreement. 12 Angry Men

I'm saying without the gutless fanservice (mainly Jackman coming back), this movie wouldn't have been as successful

The other "Deadpool" movies were successful without Jackman or the number of cameos in the movie. People love the character.

I'm glad there's some work going on with this. I'm curious if they'll be following up on the stuff with the rings from the post-credits scene or if that's a set up for Secret Wars? I think it's a safe assumption that Shang-Chi's sister taking over The Ten Rings will probably be the main focus.

I have my doubts the movie will be soon. Not until after the second Avengers movies. The main actor is 35 years old so he is young enough to hold off on. Cumberbatch is 48 and Hemsworth is 41. I think they will want to get one more movie with them before they are to old. I also think they will try and ride some of the expected success of Avengers movie with that character being in to help promote a second movie. I could also see him playing a role in the Doctor Strange movie and also Avengers. That means when they do the second movie he will have been in 3 movies and he will also no longer be connected to that time when the MCU was hurting in Phase 4. He will be a older statements character by then as they replace the final two links of phase 1 and 2 by saying goodbye to Thor and Strange.

I saw rankings for post Endgame stuff, so why not:

Amazing:
SM No Way Home
Dr. Strange & the MoM
Loki Season 1

Great:
Deadpool & Wolverine
WandaVision
Shang-Chi
Werewolf by Night

Good:
Loki Season 2
Moon Knight
Hawkeye
The Marvels
GotG Vol. 3

Watchable:
Black Widow
What If? (All seasons)

Bad:
Thor Love & Thunder
She-Hulk
Ant-Man Quantumania
Wakanda Forever

Terrible:
Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Secret Invasion
Eternals
Guardians Holiday Special

Won't Watch:
Ms. Marvel
Echo

But the question is how long do the actors want to play those roles as well. I think Hemsworth once one more movie to at least make up for the last bad one. Cumberbatch I don't think will want to be playing Strange forever either. I figure they got one good move each and a couple of Avenger movies in them and then that will be them retiring from the MCU. At least for awhile. In fact can see it now A Thor movie with Hulk. A Doctor Strange movie with Shang-Chi. Just something to think about but maybe one thing the Creators take from the Deadpool movie is the emphasis on team up movies. What would even be cool is Dr Doom/Magneto movie were the story is told from the point of view of the bad guys.

I'm highly doubtful Thor 5 happens at this point.

Hemsworth has expressed doubts about both his acting career in general (wanting to spend more time with his family) and the direction of Thor's character specifically. I don't think he's necessarily a hard out, but it's by no means guaranteed he'll be willing to do another one.

And even if he is, is Marvel actually still willing? They struggled to make audiences care much about Thor until Waititi came along and then even he was already losing people on only his second outing. And they have a pipeline problem with too many movies and not enough release dates thanks to the slowdown.

I think it's way more likely they try to send Hemsworth out on a high note in Doomsday/Secret Wars and just retire the character from there.

I've long assumed that the occasional Thor movie is the main thing keeping Hemsworth's movie career alive. The majority of his non-MCU projects underperform.

Hemsworth, like Daniel Craig is making significant amounts of money from Netflix - more than for their Thor/Bond roles (Craig in particular has made phenomenal bank). So it's hard to know how much influences them and their decisions about actual "to cinema movies".

He did have some success with those action movies on Netflix but I agree. He is not exactly a box office drawl. But I do think he is someone still likes seeing in movies. Still I think a Thor movie with Hulk would be a success. I think people would love see those two characters together. Have them go against Molecule Man.
