It’s encouraging to see that it looks like Ford is actually engaged with this project.

Oh yeah. He's really engaged with this project. I get his dry humor but it's funny when he says things like this

“The first day was so intimidating,” Mackie said. “I was so fucking nervous I couldn’t remember my lines. He’s Harrison fucking Ford. There is this aura about him. But he dispels that really quickly because he’s such a cool guy. He’s everything a movie star should be. He would say, ‘Let’s shoot this piece of shit.’ And everybody was like, ‘Yeah, let’s shoot this shit.’”

Ridiculous thing to “boycott “ over.

This whole thing seems like a massive over reaction to me.
I understand the controversy around Israel right now, but it doesn't sound like the character or the movie has anything to do with the war.

Probably not, but that remains to be seen how the character is presented. if the character refers to (or is described as) having any of her comic book history, its a safe bet to say Disney/Marvel will be accused of "choosing a side". The times we're living in.

Fantastic Four, assemble. Wait, that doesn’t sound right.

For a second I thought "Why is Mark Zuckerberg part of the FF?" I'm assuming the guy on the far right is actually who is playing Johnny Storm, but he really has a look in that picture, although the fact that he's smiling makes him look more like a human then Zuckerberg.

Are there a lot of people who are just producers with stars on the walk of fame? I thought it was mostly actors, and maybe a few directors.

Oh, I thought it was pretty much just actors, and a few big directors like Steven Spielberg or James Cameron.

I know that Godzilla, Shrek and The Simpsons have stars on the walk of fame, so you don't even have to be real to have one.

That's a fair point. I always forget that people pay for their stars, I keep thinking it's an award giving out by one of the movie/tv industry groups.

Good point, there's actually a buttload of fictional characters with stars.

I like that while Paul Reubens never got one, Pee-wee Herman did. :)
