Yeah, 20th Century is just another Disney studio now, so everything they had bought Disney bought Fox is now owned by Disney. That's why we're getting X-Men and Fantastic Four as part of the MCU now.

The trailer looked pretty cool. I'm glad they aren't bothering to hide Red Hulk since everyone was pretty sure that was going to be happening.
Ross has been a bit antagonistic towards the heroes, but I can't really see him plotting against the US. I've always seen as a more or less good guy, who just didn't approve of how the heroes operate. So I have a feeling that the fight with him and Sam, will due to some kind of manipulation from the real bad guy, who we already know will be The Leader.

Great Trailer for Brave New World. I knew about Red Hulk because of a leaked picture from months ago of a crew jacket that had the Cap Shield held by Red Hulk's hand (like in the poster that they released). Its going to be really interesting to see Harrison Ford become a Hulk. We also get Samuel Sterns (aka The Leader) in the trailer (the captions give him away when he talks, plus it sounds like him anyway), so we've got some interesting Hulk elements in the movie. I also really like the tone of the trailer, its giving me TWS vibes and I'm interesting to see where the film takes the characters and what exactly is going on.

I am kind of annoyed that I feel like I need to rewatch The Eternals sometime before Cap 4 comes out, although its not really necessary. I don't feel the same way about Falcon & The Winter Soldier though, rewatching that would just be masochistic.

I have to say, the MCU really seems to be getting back up to speed. Between Deadpool 3, Agatha All Along and Cap 4 I'm really excited for the immediate future of the MCU. Hopefully they can build momentum and keep it going.

The trailer looks fantastic and has me excited for the film. As with everything the past few years I am cautiously optimistic, but I think they've given themselves the time (and reshoots) to get this movie right.

Could they do face mocap with Harrison Ford (assuming red Hulk has talking scenes and isn't just a dumb Hulk) and then body mocap with someone else? That would make the most sense to me.

While Ed Norton did MoCap for the Hulk movie, The VFX team reportedly needed to recreate all of Hulk's movements and facial expressions manually due to Norton's being "not very present through the whole thing".

That's a little misleading, since mocap facial expressions are recreated by animators anyway. It's a myth that it's just a direct one-step process from performance to end result. The mocap data only has limited detail, and animators have to make meticulous frame-by-frame adjustments to add the nuances of microexpressions, skin movement, etc. using the live-action footage of the actor's performance as a guide. At least, that certainly would've been the case back when TIH was made.

What Terry Notary seems to be saying here is that the animators had to create a performance beyond what Norton delivered, that he didn't put much effort into his mocap performance and they had to add more expression and emotion than he gave them.

IGN has new article up discussing something I've been wondering about with the MCU.
Whatever Happened to Rick Jones
It has seemed odd to me that a character who's been such an important part of the comics, hasn't shown up in the MCU at all. I can understand not wanting to include him as a teenager, but they could have done the same thing the movies have been doing characters like Bucky or Jimmy Olson at DC and just introduce him as an adult. Maybe he could have been Bruce's lab assistant during his gamma radiation experiments or something like that.

I'm reading rumors online that Disney got hacked big time. Expect Sony hack levels of leakage if true. I hate to think what kind of impact this is going to have on current and future films.
I'm reading that AT&T was the victim of a massive hack as well.

Rick's connection to Banner during the 5 years in between his origin and the main story of Incredible Hulk was hinted at in the opening sequence / origin montage at the beginning of the movie. At 2:25 in the clip below, very briefly, you see the name "Jones, Richard 'Rick'" under "Known associates".

Paying close attention to that opening sequence tells a real tale of cat and mouse and survival. It's a period of MCU history that I would love to see expanded upon. I think this 5 year period, and the relationship between Bruce and Rick, would make for a great series of canonical original animated movies.

Yeah, the IGN article did mention the name Rick Jones name drop in the The Incredible Hulk credits.
I do like the animated movie idea.
