I know I just said this in the What it...? thread but has there ever been any indication that the MCU might one day, possibly, maybe, do a live action Captain Carter film?

I'm guessing not and that bit in Multiverse of Madness might have to suffice!

Maybe in Secret Wars, which is supposed to be multiverse-related. Given that the Watcher's appearance is clearly modeled on Jeffrey Wright, I've been expecting him to show up in live action sooner or later, and he might bring Carter with him.

So, Deadpool 3 is still shooting as shown by this new photo of Deadpool, Dogpool and Samurai Deadpool.

Given how bad Marvel CGI is when they have a year of post-production time, I worry what this is going to end up like with only six months to finish it.

Given that everyone's maskless here, I'm guessing they're shooting with an eye to using as little-to-no CGI as possible in the pickups. Action stuff's already in the can and getting processed, it's just dialogue-heavy scenes now with no writer's strike and no 'stick strictly to the script' rule in the way.

I dunno. The whole purpose of Jen's character arc was that she didn't want to be a superhero, and the story deciding that's ultimately okay.

But the challenge to her character would be "drafted" into a situation that's bigger than her stand against being a superhero, forcing her (as a dramatic device) to struggle at the worst possible time, and how she engages with that, or pulls back, the latter creating tension with Avengers who believe everyone should naturally be "all in" for that life.

I'm opposed to AI art on principle, as I'm friends with several artists....this is still cool looking though:

Fun, but their "timing" is off in a few instances. Especially Rooney as a 50's Spider-Man, he was in his thirties by the 1950s. James Dean is a better match for Spider-Man. He kind of had the market cornered for anguished teens. Not buying Wayne as Steve Rogers either.

I have to admit, that's probably the upcoming Marvel release I'm the least enthusiastic about.
I liked her character in Wakanda Forever, but she's not really a character I'm anxious to see a whole series focused on, like I was for Maya after Hawkeye.

I know what you mean. I had actually forgotten it was coming before seeing this announcement. This will be the first MCU project to focus on a character that I have never once read a comic about. Even Kamala, whose book I didn't personally follow, appeared in a two-part Spider-Man story before I stopped buying comics. That said, I will certainly give it a fair shake, just as I would any MCU product at this point.

Same here, I'm definitely going to check it out, I'm just not as excited for it as I am for most of the other stuff they've got coming out.

Well, I'm looking forward to Ironheart. I like what I've seen of Riri in the movie and her animated appearances.
I'm sure that my anticipation levels will increase once the promotional stuff starts being released. This particular project is one that just happened to be completely off my radar. A rewatch of Wakanda Forever, which I've only seen once, might help.
