Like, a lot of work has been done setting up a "young Avengers" of sorts. We've had handing of the torches to Yelena, Kate Bishop, and arguably Riri Williams. We've had other young Avengers characters introduced, like America Chavez, Wanda's sons, Eli Bradley, Stature, etc. Yet there's no plan for a Young Avengers movie, and it's likely that the oldest of the actors will be in their early 30s before one gets off the ground.

I have no particular interest in Wanda's sons (didn't they cease to exist?) or Eli Bradley (I didn't even know Isaiah's nephew was a significant character), but I'd love to see a team-up of all the others you mentioned, plus Ms. Marvel. Maybe throw in Layla from Moon Knight.

Of course, the MCU won't be complete until we finally get Squirrel Girl.

Much obliged. Either I saw that before and I forgot (likely) or I simply didn't see that particular news amongst everything else (also likely).

Yeah, I forgot about Ms. Marvel. She's clearly part of the Young Avengers plan as well. OTOH, she's actually getting a movie role, so arguably, she doesn't need the same focus as some of the others.

Eli Bradley is Patriot in the comics, so I have to think his inclusion is because they have longer-term plans for the character.

Another rumor. Before the writers strike they were talking to a certain actor to play Reed Richards.
While it is a rumor I don't know if this will be revealed in some post credit scene further down the line. So just in case I am putting it in spoilers.

I like that idea, but I mean I like that actor so I'd be sold whoever he was playing (but I do think he could make a good RR)

At this point I don't think there's an actor of a certain age who hasn't been linked with playing Reed.

I did find it funny that Adam Driver allegedly turned it down because he didn't like the script but was happy to make "65", a movie from this year I'm betting most people have forgotten even existed.

"So I'm a man with stretching powers? What's my motivation?"

I guess there's a difference between making a one-off mindless dinosaur movie and potentially having to lock yourself into playing Reed Richards for the next ten years.

I really liked the idea of it being William Jackson Harper when that rumor briefly made the rounds. Instead he got a nothing part in a mediocre Ant-Man movie. Shame.

Loki's new Season 2 trailer has my interest piqued. Season 1 remains my favorite Disney+ season of any Marvel series and I'm really looking forward to how the Sacred Timeline gets fixed - assuming it even does in the conventional sense.

Yeah, I liked that rumor, too, and even as one of the few people who largely enjoyed Quantumania, I was sorely disappointed how badly they wasted him.

But who knows, maybe he'll be one of those people who gets to play two different characters?

Or even if it should be "fixed." Remember, the very concept of "the Sacred Timeline" was a lie.
