What grade would you give the Marvel Cinematic Universe? (Ever-Changing Question)

Conversely, there's already some backlash from the transgender community because of fears that it'll just be another act of lip service and/or "Oh, we didn't mention it during the film but it's true!" which Marvel has unfortunately has a bad history with the LGTBQ community.

Said backlash is from the radical extremists who because they can yell the loudest, are usually the ones who get heard; I'd like to hear from others in the LGBT community.
 
Kind of feels like we are making and spreading those negative comments for them ourselves. Why do their work for them?

I guess movies are a different bag but this is old news for DC on the TV side. I hate when it gets reduced to checkbox clicking announcements. “Movie X will have a blank” just feels shallow but maybe that’s privilege talking.

Between the gay characters in the latest Star Wars and Marvel movies I really don‘t have a lot of faith in them to have a trans character that isn‘t extremely minor and can‘t be cut for foreign markets. That said, I may change my opinion depending on how Eternals handles it‘s gay character.
 
For those who don't follow the link, now they are saying the "very soon" was about LGBTQ+ characters in general, and not a transgender character specifically.

Let's indeed see if Marvel can (and will) do this well, before the bitching starts.
