The only reason I even know what you're talking about is because I spent a minute on Twitter and saw it was trending. I rolled my eyes and moved on.

Why would you say that?
Because s**t, d**m, f**k and the occasional n***a show up. Plus sex and drugs and graphic violence. Iron Fist might be the most "Disney friendly" of the bunch. At least as far as my rewatch has gotten as of last night.

Apparently that announcement is for the Canadian Disney+, not the American one. The image was posted out of context. So we still don't know if the American D+ will get the shows or when.

Ah well, I'm in Canada. So woo.

They're R-rated shows on a PG-13 service.

The N-word gets used more than once in Luke Cage. You think that's going to make it onto Disney intact?
Yes. D+ Canada has Pam & Tommy which is rated TV-MA

Mind you, that's under the Star section of the service.

D+ Canada (and most international markets) has a sub section called "Star" for adult centred programs. Loosely equivalent to Hulu in the US.

Dutch Disney+ has Star, that features many shows and movies with violence, hard language and sex. Parental control is available, a PIN that makes it impossible for those without it to access it. Could be that at some point Disney+ USA will have something similar when the Netflix Marvel shows hit there.

There is no reason to assume the shows will be censured or edited. There's plenty of ways to just put them on there. Hell, Dutch Disney+ has both Deadpool movies.

Actually, they never said f*** on the Netflix shows. They couldn't go that far and stucking with "Friggin" or "freaking".

The cursing isn't an issue, because Falcon and Winter Soldier had cursing too.

Luke Cage never actually used "N*gg**", they used the Gangsta-Rapper "N*gga*" instead which didn't break censorship rules.

If it does end up on the US D+, it will be interesting however they approach it.

Not that I have any business using either version at all but my ears can't really hear the difference usually or if so to distinguish if someone just speaks with a soft r in general. I can never tell which version their saying without subtitles. Can you tell if someone from Boston is saying it?

If they're from Boston it's definitely the one that ends in "er"
