Jungle Book was also impressive, so can't be too upset by that.
Valid point though. Strange took it further but it certainly looked inspired by Inception.
Movies considered good always get an advantage. A few of the Bayformers movies didn't get noms even though they were the best examples of CG characters in era backgrounds that existed at the time.

At this point I'd take being entertaining awards shows.
Entertaining awards shows are an oxymoron.
Besides, there's nothing more asinine than the most self important industry in Earth giving itself self congratulatory pats on the back.
It says a lot when the best moment in the Oscars in the past ten years was Warren Beatty getting the name of a winner wrong.
I still feel bad for Beatty, because people still blame him even though he did nothing wrong. He didn't say the wrong name, it looked like he was given the wrong envelope and tried to show it to Faye Dunaway, who just blurted out La La Land (out of what looked like exasperation) because it was the backup envelope for Emma Stone winning Best Actress for that movie.
A lot of the sets were physical, so maybe they focused on that category instead (although they didn't win)?

Crap, I'm a season behind on a few of them, I'll have to check into wrapping it up.

See, this is why I decided to stop buying them on disk because I thought they'd always be available. I bought the first season of Daredevil and the first season of Jessica Jones, and had them on my shelf for months before I realized that I hadn't even unwrapped them yet and I was always going to Netflix when I wanted to watch them anyway.
Well, I recently binged seasons 1 and 3 of Daredevil in between episodes 5 and 6 of Hawkeye. I'll probably re-familiarize myself with season 2 again, and perhaps The Defenders before the ax drops.
I own season 1 of Jessica Jones, which I consider to be one of the best seasons of superhero television ever made, but seasons 2 and 3 were a great big pile of "meh".
I've never been able to muster up the energy to revisit Luke Cage given the cliff that they hung season 2 on. Honestly, no real desire to revisit Iron Fist or The Punisher.
If these shows don't find a home where I can access them, I want to complete the Daredevil series on disc and add Defenders to my collection just to round out Matt's arc.
