That's only true if you omit his stage career (which you should probably never do with a British actor). He played Master Frank Ford in a 1979-80 RSC stage production of The Merry Wives of Windsor, and reprised the role for the BBC Television Shakespeare's 1982 production of the play (opposite Harry Potter's Richard Griffiths as an unimpressive Falstaff). He also played Aeneas in both the 1968 Royal Shakespeare Theatre production of Troilus and Cressida and the 1969 UK tour of the same play, but since those had the same director and most of the same core cast (also including Patrick Stewart as Hector, Sebastian Shaw as Ulysses, and Helen Mirren as Cressida), those can perhaps be considered one continuous production rather than a reprise. (Blake's 7's Gareth Thomas and Stephen Greif also had minor roles in the '68 production.)
