I started thinking about where Daredevil: Born Again and the wider The Defenders Saga subseries can or should go, and got to thinking that Dario Scardapane should bring Tatiana Maslaney into Born Again Season 3, but officially establish that she hasn't previously appeared in the 616 Universe.

No. Now if they bring her in and acknowledged her and Matt's relationship in She-Hulk, then I'd be all for it. She-Hulk was fantastic, and I'd freakin' riot if they ignored it, and throwing her into the mix just as Matt and Karen are back together would be a fun little complication to add to their relationship.
She has red hair in the pic. It's confirmed. She is the next Mary Jane Watson. Not sure how they will do this in connection to Zendaya.
She's a red head, so she more or less always has red hair, and it doesn't have to mean Ms. Watson, Jean Grey and Angelica Jones/Firestar are also both red heads.
I'm curious if the jacket is just because of the weather, or if the character possibly has some kind of a trademark costume they're hiding.

Matt's appearance in She-Hulk has already been ignored, but Charlie Cox still wants to work with Tatiana (again), so the way to do that is to completely de-Canonize She-Hulk from the MCU full-stop by having Tatiana come back but be meeting Matt, as a character, for the first time.

I don't think they talked about it at all in Born Again, but I'm pretty sure they included the She-Hulk helmet when they were showing Matt's past helmets, so they didn't completely ignore She-Hulk.

Daredevil: Born Again Showrunner Dario Scardapane explicitly said that he flat-out ignored Matt's appearance in She-Hulk and treated it like it never happened when retooling Born Again's story, and the fact that BA starts with Matt being retired from being Daredevil at a point in time where She-Hulk shows that he wasn't retired backs up his statement.

She-Hulk was released in 2022, Born Again was released earlier this year, and Matt retired from being Daredevil one year before the present-day of that show, which would make it 2024. Your math sucks.

Even if there isn't a contradiction in terms of when She-Hulk is set, Dario Scardapane still explicitly said that he treated Matt's appearance in that show as Non-Canonical and ignored it.

Basically they can do to She-Hulk what they wanted to do with Daredevil. Keep the actor but ditch the show we first saw her in.

Again, no. Do that and we riot. Marvel should not capitulate to a bunch of whiny thin-skinned misogynistic fanboys.

Nothing would be lost by completely shifting She-Hulk into a separate reality from the 616 Universe/Sacred Timeline, but if you bring Tatiana back and introduce her character to Matt for the very first time, you get to make Charlie Cox happy and have the ability to potentially repeat the relationship beats that She-Hulk did but in a way that isn't inconsistent with Matt's already-established characterization.

But as far as I can remember, there was nothing that directly contradicts She-Hulk, and like I said before, I'm pretty sure we saw Matt's She-Hulk helmet with his other helmets. And what Scardapane says doesn't really matter since he's just in charge of one show, and has no over the overall franchise.
