Contrary to my speculation that Nightcrawler would be CGI this time around, Alan Cumming talked on Today with Jenna and Friends about the make-up process and how much it has changed since last time around (quote courtesy of io9):

Isn’t that nuts? It’s 23 years since I was a superhero…I’ve had some make-up tests already. Actually, what’s great about it was that it was about four-and-a-half to five hours before [to apply], but now it’s only 90 minutes. Before, all of the tattoos were done by hand because they hadn’t decided on them before we started filming, and now they’re on this little thing–they stick on. It’s a game-changer. So, I’m going back to being a 60-year-old superhero.
The same io9 article features a quote from Channing Tatum that sort of suggests that he might not be paying Gambit (at least that's what io9 wants to think) but it's all very vague and probably just means he's playing a variant.

One of the reasons Cumming didn't come back for X3 was because of the makeup process being too grueling for him back then. Either he's mellowed out, Disney is paying better or he's fine with a shorter makeup process now.

I hope they put Kelsey Grammar back in the makeup as well, instead of going with that bad looking CGI.

Oscar Isaac pulled out of Star Wars: Celebration due to a "change in his production schedule" so now people are suspecting he's in Doomsday.

While the timing does line up, he's pretty low on my list Disney+ characters I'd expect to see in Doomsday. If any of the Disney+ series stars were going to show up, I would expect one of them with a more direct connection to the Avengers, like She-Hulk or Kate Bishop, to show up before Moon Knight. If The Marvel's hadn't been as much of a flop, I would have expected Ms. Marvel to show up, but now I'm not sure if we'll ever see her again.

I am. I have no doubt of it. They will pay off the tag scene with Kate Bishop at the end of that movie at some point and...

... I'm sure there was a purpose in setting up the friendship between Matt and Yusuf and Yusuf inviting him to meet his family.

Oh right, I forgot about the set ups for a possible Young Avengers/Champions team.

Yeah, I was wondering if there was going to be any significance to that.

Brave New World releases digital VOD on the 15th, and Blu-Ray on May 13th

No word on D+ yet, but iirc previous releases dropped on the same day as the physical? Or close to it.

The year so far was pretty lackluster, so being the number two movie doesn't mean shit.

Unless Disney is lying about how much they spent. The main thing is, if it was a success they would for sure be touting it as a success and would be talking about the net Captain America movie they want to do. While it might be a flop I would say it's not a flop on the level of Snow White. More of a mid-level flop. Which honestly I think they kind of always suspected would be the case. The whole movie feels like a Bob Chapek era movie that they just wanted to get out their and hope maybe it makes some money and at least gets good reviews. But their main focus has been on Thunderbolts,Fantastic 4 and even Daredevil.
