Is it true that Obama filled out a women's bracket this year because someone (or some group) was offended that he didn't do one last year?

For that one he just scribbled in a bunch of names at random.

Anyone watching Butler vs Michigan St? Not the prettiest game I've ever seen, but it's still fun.

This Butler team really is impressive to watch. They play solid, sound, fundamental basketball. They do NOT get flustered at all. MSU is in all kinds of foul trouble and almost nothing is going in the basket.

Butler's coach is positively unflappable. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of the ball going in on either side. How long has it been since either team scored?

ARRRRGHHH!! He's obviously lost the touch! Why did he take that three? Milk the clock and take a more high probability shot. At this point, 5 points may be insurmountable.

Butler finally made a shot, after going something like 8+ minutes without one. MSU did shut down Northern Iowa the last 10 minutes of that game.

But now it comes down to one shot. MSU down by 1 with the ball and under 30 secs to go.....

OH. MY. GOD. Butler is playing for the title.

I feel for Tom Rizzo, though. Heartbreak last year in the title game, and so close again.

Butler's going to the championship game... and I know I am going to be sick of hearing it the next two days. Nothing against them, though.

I hope Duke wins tonight, because if Butler can pull it off against them.... they will have beatn the two most successful tournament coaches over the past 15-20 years

West Virginia has GOT to guard against the 3-pt shot. Duke is just KILLING them with the 3-pter

No lie there. I'd rather not see Duke in the championship game, thank you. West Virginia is a better story.

I suspect it's not too soon to get ye old fork ready for the Mountaineers. They're not done, but they're extremely close to done. The writing's on the wall.

EDIT--Oh my God, Butler's in agony. If they weren't done before, they're done now. I hate to see that. I really do. No way they can come back without DeSean Butler. He must have torn every ligament in that knee. When you're pounding on the floor in agony and your big macho coach is stroking your face trying to help you control the pain, you're in bad trouble. That's a shame. Butler's one of the really good kids.

I loved the shot of Huggins consoling Butler, telling him I imagine "we wouldn't be here without you" and all. His players really do love him, and that's evidence enough for that.

Truly amazing that Butler can win the national championship. I never thought a team from a conference outside the big 6 conferences would have a chance.

Neither did I. It would be the best thing in the world for college basketball if they could win.

Yeah, I imagine a shot of Huggins with Butler trying to comfort him will make it into a newspaper or two. One of the more human moments. Huggins cares, for all his blustering.

I believe when I signed up for the Yahoo TrekBBS bracket I said something to the effect that I had no clue what I was doing and was told "You'll probably win then!"

I can't remember who said it, but I never expected those words to be prophetic.
