Making sense of Discovery's Klingon Starships...

This one reminds me of the Giger designed spaceship from Alien.
 
Tihihi yeah its been a while since you've done something asymmetrical.. couldn't resist huh? ;)
 
- Perhaps the original ship looked something like this before it became encrusted with all those sarcophaguses (sarcophagi?), coffins, and other flotsam and jetsam? Great design!

Yeah, in another thread I postulated that the sarcophagus ship is actually just a normal TOS-era battle cruiser, but over the years it became coated in so many layers of Klingon coffins that the exterior now looks all jagged and weird, like a boat hopelessly covered in barnacles.

This was all done analog style on real paper? I find the look of it really appealing in today's digital age.
