Majel Barrett Roddenberry Has Died

Terrible and sad news indeed
I think Majerl bought warmness and lots of humanity to the great Star Trek family and also to the series by the characters she played. We will all miss you.
May she rest in peace, with her husband ,among the stars.
My deepest condolences to her family, friends and to all my fellow Trekkies.

What an awful shock. I had read the other day about her doing the computer voice for the new movie. I had no clue there was anything wrong with her. I'll miss that face and that voice.

This is awful shock. I was able to meet Majel Barrett Roddenberry many times over the years at Star Trek Conventions. I will miss her friendly smile, and sweet voice. RIP

I've not been on for awhile. Somehow I missed this. Majel was a gracious lady and friend to a newbie in Hollywood. She pushed to have my series approved, so I am eternally grateful for her support and friendship over the years.

I shall miss her... rest well, My Lady!

As I write this I am having a glass of Christmas wine in memory of those we miss so much... Majel, Jimmy and DeForest. I am feeling like a "Relic" myself right now.

I just came back to this board after an absence and heard about this. It's truly the end of an era. It would have been nice had she lived to see the new movie debut, but at least her familiar voice will make one more appearance, and that's something.
