The Sprint commercial was shown before Star Trek at the theater I went to.actors like connor trinneer or john billinsgley have always worked after the show canceled. i think unfortunately dominic not (what reasons, i don't know), only poor cameo, yes i think it's sad, but that can help.
I personally thought it was sad. At least Connor Trinneer can get on '24', even if it was only one episode.
nothing wrong with doing comercials, it's honest work. We've seen many actors do them over the years it doesn't mean their careers are in trouble.

Yeah but aren't commercials usually at the start of your career...
After all of his time doing Enterprise and various TV and Film parts, I think its a bit sad that he's had to resort back to doing these.
It's not like he is doing commercials for a sleeze-bag lawyer. That's when you hit bottom.
Indeed. Hollywood has evolved a little bit in that regard. It's the same deal with "television actors" versus "film actors." In the past, TV actors were looked down upon by "film actors," and they considered TV to be below them (case in point--Jeffrey Hunter, or I guess his wife). Nowadays, that stigma doesn't exist, or at least it isn't nearly as bad.Very funny!
The stigma of established actors appearing in commercials does not exist anymore. Its great national exposure. It could lead to film and tv roles.
