Lt. David Mack?

The First New Frontier book has Lt. Kristian Ayre, He was An actor on Peter David's Space Cases

Before Dishonor has Commanders Brevroot, Shmidt and Wacker, who are all comic Editors. At the time of the novels release they all worked for Marvel. I think Wacker is with another company now.
Other way around, actually - Steve Wacker used to work for DC Comics, but now works for Marvel.

I have a shuttlecraft named after my last name. It wasn't a Tuckerization but I'll take it just the same.

Just a quick question, is the Vulcan man in Shards and Shadows: A Terrible Beauty Chu'lak named after a certain Jaffa Homeworld in the Stargate franchise?

Chu'lak was a character from the DS9 episode "Field of Fire." At the time that episode was written, Stargate SG-1 had only been on the air for two years on pay cable, and TV writer-producers are generally too busy making TV to have much time for watching it. So the name is probably a coincidence. There was also a reference to a Romulan named Chulak in VGR's "The Thaw," made in 1996, before SG-1 premiered.
