Huh? The only mention of Dayton Ward in ASD was in the acknowledgments.............I caught the mention of a "Dayton Ward" in A Singular Destiny.. cracked me up..

KRAD also named a character after me in his Buffy novel, The Deathless. In fact my mother was very proud of this and bought like three copies, one of which she sent to my Aunt. It also impressed my roomates and at least one of my classmates at college that semester.
