Lower Decks renewed for season 3

I'm sure you can point to any name-calling in my post, unless lack of rhymability is considered a slur in your culture?

Yours did imply I'm immature though, so that would count.

Wow, you call me names and I am the one who's guilty!!

What's next? Did someone hit your fist with their face?

What the fuck, guys? There doesn't need to be this kind of vitriol over such mundane discussions. Stop this shit immediately and return to discussing Lower Decks getting more seasons.

No, you don't get it.
No, you still don't get it!
I don't understand why it is so hard for me to get through.
But if you wish to ignore my argument and pretend that the obvious doesn't exist then it's your problem not mine.
My point that you seem to obstinately refuse to see …
Well, I think people in this thread are done not getting you. I issued a reply ban to you for this thread. I'm not convinced you are able to have a normal discussion in here without insinuating others are somehow too dense to get your arguments. Please consider this a friendly warning. Should you not be able to get a grip on engaging with people who don't agree with you in other places, there will be actual warning points issued. Comments to PM.

Also, @matthunter and @dupersuper, you didn't really help matters with all your spurring on. You guys are here long enough to know that this doesn't fly. Please try to be less confrontational in the future.

Hey Mods, should we move the last 3-and-a-half pages (from page 5 midpoint) to a dedicated "All Good Things"/Starfleet mutiny thread?
Not a bad idea at all, but I don't feel like wading through those posts and splitting them off into a new thread is worth all the effort. Let's just try to return to a discussion that resembles a decent discourse, thank you. :)

Initially I thought that Lieutenant j.g. Boimler would last only an episode on the Titan before being demoted back to the Cerritos. I'm relieved that the producer's posts in this direction indicate Boimler stays on the Titan for a bit, and that it will be part of the story.

Perhaps this will be season where we'll finally have a Trek series shift focus on two starships for a while?

^^this

We've not seen character shuffling since the TOS movies (Chekov on the Reliant, Scotty and later Sulu on Excelsior). TNG really kept its clique together with krazyglue until the end of Nemesis...

It'll be interesting to see where they take it all, and how.

Well, looks like Boimler gets speedily demoted back to the Cerritos.

I enjoy the series. I hope it doesn't fall into the "status quo is god" trope and keeps our four Lower Deckers ensigns for the entire run of the series. They can still remain on lower decks while being lieutenant jg's.
