WHERE is the Lower Decks sub forum?

We should have one by now.

On one hand, I kinda agree. On the othr hand, unlike with Picard, where there were dozens of threads clogging up Future of Trek, there's still just the one (erm...two now I guess), meaning it's not quite as pressing.

The bridge looks like an Enterprise-D, Voyager hybrid.

Something about the stills reminds me of Sev Trek. I used to get a kick out of that comic strip.

Why do late 24th century ships not have a front registry on the saucer? Those in Picard didn't either, to my knowledge.

Rick & Morty does Star Trek.

I'm down. I enjoyed Rick & Morty until this last season and I enjoyed Solar Opposites.

Just to clarify, I don't think the series looks bad per se. But personally aside from the naked gag, nothing in the trailer was even chuckle internally funny. Though my own sense of humor tends toward surreal non-sequiters, which would be hard to land in a trailer.

Just watched it. I liked the trailer. I could see myself inviting some of my friends over, we could hang out, kick back, and watch this.

It's light-hearted, fun, has some energy to it. And if some people who don't like Kurtzman Era Trek in general could get the stick out of their ass about New Trek, they'd like what they saw in this trailer too.

I agree this is just about as much of a polar opposite of the critiques of Kurtzman's style as possible. Unless what you really dislike is trend-chasing I suppose.

Well, expecting something normally ensures that you'll see it that way, but that was every bit as horrible as I feared it would be.

Horrible character design, rotten animation choices, charmless, annoying and utterly, pathetically unfunny.

Never really got into Rick & Morty, but from the earlier released stills, I had a feeling that this could be a fun series. That little two-minute trailer clinched it for me. It seems even more fun that I thought it would be.
