Previous seasons IIRC they waited a week to upload the first episode?

It's actually the perfect time for a merch push. The final season is about to start, people are excited about seeing new eps but also trying to hold on to something that will be finished soon...what better way to hold on to it than buying tat? ;)

We did get some dream legacy cast in this season, but you’re gonna have to wait and see. There’s a bit of a season-long thread that allowed us to, without time travel, have people that are harder to get into this this specific time period of the show. So we got to work with some really cool people. I was actually really surprised that we could get who we got.

Holograms? Shapeshifters?
Dreams? Flashbacks? Mind Meld? Q? A journey into someone’s subconsciousness à la “Extreme Measures”?

Trek offers so many possibilities!

Re: The darker uniforms of the alternate universe crew from “Dos Cerritos” … I wonder if they’re just doing that for the viewer’s benefit and not comment on it or if it’s something they are calling out within the episode.

DC Comics did the same thing back in the 80’s, when the Mirror Universe came across. Their Monster Maroons were a bit darker than the “prime” tunics, mostly just to differentiate the two sets of characters. And Spock’s goatee. :D

Oh my gods! It looks like we'll be getting an Art of Star Trek Lower Decks book July 2025!!!

(I discovered this on Amanda Wong's Bluesky thingy - Amanda was a LDS background artist S1-4)

And the LDS Warp Your Own Way interactive graphic novel is out now!!

I also saw something about the main cast having designed t-shirts for Titmouse's season five collection but can't find the link to it now...

Edit: Found it! I read about the T-shirts at TrekCore :D

I’m so glad you saw this, this makes my day. I've been waiting for something like this basically since the first season came out. This should be rich with sketches from the development of the characters and lavish spreads of colorful background art! And maybe we’ll finally get a definitive answer to the question just who was involved in designing the Cerritos. I can’t wait for this. July 2025 can’t come soon enough.
