Moving to cancel streaming subscriptions can sometimes trigger incentive messages for staying on. Even if it just an offer to pause the sub, and the fees for a while, that is something

I was going to cancel HULU and found I can pause the sub for up to 3 months at a time.

I signed in to cancel my P+ sub last week, but while doing so They offered me the next 3 months at half price so I took the deal.

Interesting - I'll have to try that for some things. Reminds me of the before-times, when you could call your credit card company and ask them to lower your interest rate on an annual basis. They apparently don't do that anymore and (multiple card companies) have informed me that interest rate adjustments are all "automatic" now, whatever that means.
