Yeah, anyone that thinks professionals in uniform act like professionals (or even grown ups) all the time clearly hasn't spent any time around the military. I've known Captains with fewer braincells than a fencepost, YOs that couldn't find their elbows with both hands, a Colonel that spent all day measuring their office furniture to make sure their desk and floorspace was bigger than anyone with a lower rank, a Lt Col with a weird grass obsession (don't ask), a Provosts that I'm pretty sure hadn't gone to work sober a day in his life, and so very many privates that clearly dropped out of school at the finger painting stage, with all the inane shenanigans that entails.

 

Heck, as I said before we have confirmation the characters won't act identical to how they do on LDS.

I assume the would be (per Wikipedia) Episode 5 which is listed as being written by Lyn and SNW co-showrunner Henry Alonso Meyers.

 

I'm guessing she's writing the Lower Decks parts and Henry wrote the SNW parts.
