Using netflix to my advantage and watching DS9 for the first time! I'm almost through the first season and it's really been a treat to have a new Star Trek series (since I know Voyager and TNG like the back of my hand). It's a great series so far and I'm starting to really like the characters a lot.

Hmmm, you like the first season. A lot of fans don't seem to like it much although I'm not one of them. I saw the show in its first run and liked it a lot from the get go. But better yet it does get better as it goes along. Enjoy!

I know. I didn't watch DS9 until a couple of years ago, and I was blown away by how good it was. Sad to say, I never gave the series a chance when it aired in the 90s.

I have to admit that when I first started Trek that Deep Space Nine was my least favorite, now it is my favorite of all treks (narrowly pushing out TNG for the top spot). It's the only Star Trek series I own the complete set for.
