Lost - just over 2 years on

But with Nadia, he had too much guilt--guilt over the torture, guilt over what he became after she was killed, etc. With Shannon, it was a clean slate for both of them. That's why, in the FS, he had to make peace with Nadia and the past she represented, and finally walk away from it. With Shannon, he lived in the moment, and not the past. I thought the scene where the finally meet again was really lovely.

I'm glad someone did. :p

Heh. I was still hoping for S4 to feature a Nikki-Paulo Zombie Apocalypse!

During our rewatch we made a point of noting anytime either of them was on screen that it was important to remember that -they were there the whole time-.

I did really like their last episode though. The 'paralysed/Paulo (or is it Paolo?) lies' thing was brilliant word play, I thought.

You have to love any episode of Lost in which Billy Dee Williams appears. :)

...and now I'm imagining him as the MiB...

Two or three weeks ago I saw the first three episodes of LOST. And while they were not bad, I knew that none of that shit was ever going to get answered properly.

I'm nearly 100% certain that every major mystery from the first three episodes of the series was answered in some shape or form during the course of the show. I don't know the percentage but I'm pretty sure that the majority of mysteries posed were answered especially the important ones. A fairly big number of minor mysteries remained mysterious but most weren't essential to the series as a whole.

My Lost chronological rewatch site is very close to it's completed form. I may finish it later tonight in fact. Watching it again in chronologically order was a very interesting experience.

Cool! Are you providing instructions on viewing order or re-editing and uploading the whole show?

I know it's probably the former, the latter would be an insane amount of work. I keep hoping, tho...

Is there a website or something that you used to pull that off?

I'm using Yola.com to host my site. It's pretty easy to build with. I'm in the process now of building a site about the chronological order of Star Trek Lit-verse books and other things Trek Lit related. Someday I will make another chronological rewatch site devoted instead to Battlestar Galactica.

Lost Chronologically is just a guide to watch the show in order yourself, with timestamps for each scene in the series in chronological order. I'm aware of someone who did actually edit everything together and release his material in episode format as torrents. I'm not sure what the site is though, or even if it would be good to post it. The link to my newly completed site is right below in my sig.

One of the coolest parts about trying to put all this together was the interpretation of certain things. In season 5 the Ajira survivors spent a different number of days on the Island than the Dharma folks did before being reunited, and the time difference had to be interpreted. I had to decide weather to watch Desmond's time travels in the past or present or both, and the same with the time flashes. The major work of interpretation I am particularly proud of is the choice to format the time the surivors spent on the Island as 108 days. The way everything worked out I was able to put the day the Oceanic 6 were rescued and the day LeFleur's group joined the Dharma folk as Day 108 since the crash.

Thanks for the link! I may have to look into this at some point...for now, I'd be happy enough finding someone to watch the show with at all.
