I hope we get scenes set in a klingon hair salon, where we see L'rell getting her hair and nails did and gossiping with the girls at the salon.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse...
It's like they're trolling Trek purists.
Why don't they give him a nose-ring, ear gauges, and an IDIC neck-tattoo while they're at it?
How can you expect your opinion to be taken seriously, when you post inane drivel like this?If you have to ask, you won't understand.
Thing about the beard on Spock and even his longer hair, (not so bowl cut) is it creates a different reaction. He evokes more ruggedness and humanity. That's probably what they are going for in that his link with humanity and his sister being human is going to be a big part of the story. I suspect I'm reading too much into it or projecting even, but Spock in The Cage was a different persona to TOS, more emotions... We are bridging to that Spock, not the more 'disciplined' Spock on the Enterprise. When they go after every little thing at every single turn they have to start to realize it's weakening their position. Sometimes they might have a point that I agree with but is it a specific point that's part of a targeted and specific criticism or is it -- to mix metaphors -- them attacking everything in sight, throwing everything against the wall, and then it's a case of even a broken clock is right twice a day?
I'm leveling this toward anyone who attacks everything about any series, not just DSC. It just happens to be Discovery's turn up at the bat.

We got a different Spock in TMP as well...the "just out of Kolinhar" guy.And then the after death/rebirth Spock was a different guy, at least for a while. More human.
He was kind of icy again by TNG, maybe due to outliving almost everybody he knew.

And no one understands him but his woman...Yep. He's a complex fellow.

That's what petition.org is for.Im writing a strongly worded letter if it doesn't happen. The fans deserve to know!!!!!
THIS SHALL NOT STAND!!!!!!!!!!!!! #NotrealTrekOMG - Spock (after being in an area where shaving may not have been high on his mind) returns with A BEARD! The HORROR...NON-CANON SPOCK...DOOM!![]()
Whats wrong with him just not wanting to shave for a bit?
Or not having the ability to for some reason.
When I double exposed this beard onto shouty shaggy Cage Spock, I was surprised at how easy it was to do. While I don’t think this actor looks particularly like Nimoy, the overlay was almost 1:1.![]()
Looks good, if you ask me.
Impressionable 29 years young Will Riker, thought to emulate his hero, Spock?
