Long Overdue Sequels

I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet but I'd love to see Gun 2. I had a great time playing Gun, although it was a little short.

Portal 2 is one I'm looking forward to.
If they do another 'Gun', which was a pretty good game, they need to make it a lot longer and make the world more open than it was. I felt like a lot of areas were really small and claustrophobic, and agree that it was a short game. I finished almost everything, including the side missions where you hunt down criminals for money, too quickly.

I think "The Longest Journey" really needs to have another instalment soonish. I've heard 'Dreamfall Chapters' has been stuck on the backburner for a while now.

Yeah they would need to make it a lot longer. I think there was barely a an afternoon worth of a game there (I didn't do all the side missions).

Has there ever been a non-2D sequel to Jet Set Willy?

The side missions don't take that long. Basically you just hunt down and kill fugitives for cash. Considering the entire game map is not that big, it doesn't take long at all. It's also pretty easy.

I want a new Streets of Rage so badly.

One of the greatest series EVER.

God damn, you just keep getting points in my book. I was just saying to myself "Streets of Rage needs a f'ing sequel".

On another note, Pandamoium I think it was called, it needs a decent sequel. Same as a game I can't remember the name of. It's like a 3d Streets of Rage, and it had a really shit sequel that only had 1 character instead of the 5.

Loaded also needs a decent sequel, that game was off fucking intense.
You speak of Fighting Force, which was pretty much Streets of Rage 4 without the title because Sega(?) got mad about them wanting to port it to other platforms. And yeah, Fighting Force 2 sucked. There was a 3 in development at one point, I remember seeing a tech demo or something long long ago.

I would say that another Chrono game is well overdue (Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross). From what I understand, the Chrono games were put together by JRPG "dream teams". They were basically the best people you could find for the gaming industry at the time. However, I don't think that we'll see another Chrono game since Square-Enix is concentrating on Final Fantasy.

I just realized that they badly need to do a sequel to the Freedom Force series. It was loads of fun. Especially since the end of FF2 left a lot of questions.
