Can't believe I missed the THANOS copter.

I'm not sure if everything melds together smoothly if watched all back-to-back at once but coming out weekly I am generally entertained enough to not think too much about it. I do think Kid Loki (and Renslayer for that matter) could've been better cast but all the Lokis were fun. Sylvie seems to be even better as she goes. Still has that Doctor Who vibe but that is not a complaint. I guess Richard E Grant is kind of the War Doctor of this one. That "classic" costume though!

Of the three series to come out so far, this was the one that had shot the least pre-Covid; so I do wonder how much got changed along the way.

So I read that story and I still didn't remember it. Very cool deep pull, though, which just convinces me these shows are made by fans.

The head of IT (not a teacher, he worked on the computers and networks) at my college worked on that show as a researcher, even appeared in a couple episodes.

Ravonna absolutely does know who's really in charge of the TVA. But she's not about to let on that she knows - not to Sylvie, not to B15, not to anyone. Not even to Miss Minutes (who's now too busy digging up files to notice Ravonna slipping away, presumably to be at our Big Bad's side when Loki/Sylvie face him next episode). Funny thing is, B15 almost caught on to the ruse anyway.

If our Big Bad is Kang, though, and this is his debut ahead of Ant-Man 3... there's no way our Lokis come out of this on top. At least one of them will survive (because that's what Lokis do), but just barely. And them+Mobius being on the run sets up Season 2.

I'm already hearing some calling him 'Florida Loki.' :guffaw:

Did you watch Leonard Nimoy's show In Search Of when it was on?
They did an episode focused on the island.

Nice Dr Who Episode. I think it was a rerun. Building Utopia at the End of Time, being shunted to the End of Time. Tish Jones (Martha's sister). Maybe it's Dr YANA who started the TVA.

Oh, yeah. Forgot The Great Intelligence.

I loved the part where all the Loki’s were betraying each other and our Loki just didn’t give a crap.

It reminded me of certain South Park episodes.

This episode is clearly not shot on location. It's noticeably a virtual set and a lot of scenes in the series involve two actors together in open spaces or rooms. That feels like the biggest change but some episodes feel very slow so maybe there were things cut.

This might have been my favourite episode so far, just loved it from beginning to end!

I was watching on the laptop so couldn't quite tell, when they descend into the bunker we catch a glimpse of a tiny person in a glass jar. Was that supposed to be Ant Man or another Loki variant?

Better. That, as the jar said, was Variant T365 (as in Thor 365, its first comic appearance), better known as... Throg.

    Thor. As a frog.

Let's see Florida Loki try to get the better of him...

I saw a theory that the head of the TVA is another Loki, who succeeded, and is now trying to prevent any other Loki from doing the same.

That’s probably not it, but it would be funny.

How about an alt-Thor? That would give our Loki something to think about.

There is a certain logic to it though. It would fit the theme of "glorious purpose". Maybe one Loki did really achieve his glorious purpose of ruling the timeline? If so, it would make sense to try to prevent other Lokis from destroying that.

But all the signs do seem to point to Kang.

It won't be Kang. There is no logic to introduce in the last episode a villan 95% of the audience are unfamiliar with.
It would make sense to have a Loki behind it all, as we have a theme of Loki being his own worse enemy.

I'm a huge Fantastic Four fan, But I stopped reading around the early 1980s. I'd never even heard about this story, line and if I had I may have sworn off the FF forever after that. Was that another John Byrne affair?

Well... They can't answer everything or they won't have much for season two. :)
