News Live-Action ‘Cowboy Bebop’ tv series in the works

I haven't read anything yet but it feels like a show netflix was heavily invested in. I think it would at the very least get a second season.

While I have some issues with the live-action adaptation, I'd like to see a second season for sure. The main trio cast is superb.

I really like the cast and would like to see more of them. The production design is good, but I'd like to see more focus on space stations and the like -- though I realized in my recent rewatch that the anime spent less time on stations/habitats than I'd remembered and indeed hung mostly around Kasei (Mars). I'd also like to see them actually do something with Venus as a setting; the anime episode set there was a memorable one. I would definitely like to see much less of the gangland stuff -- my least favorite part of the anime, and of this -- and more of the bounty hunting and comedy elements.

Why would you celebrate something being cancelled that was obviously enjoyed by other people?

Because it was an insult to everyone who worked on the original series. (And no, just to be safe, I couldn't care less what clothes characters do or do not wear.)

Well, that's too bad for those who worked on the show and those who enjoyed it. Not a surprise though, considering the response to it and how fast Netflix is to kill programs nowadays. I was pretty meh about it but seemed like a few people here really enjoyed it.

Has anyone on the original team actually said they were insulted by the adaptation? Or are you just making an assumption?

Just a shame they didn't cancel "another life" because that is a terrible show
