• The Tholian Web (plot nitpicks just can't detract, it's original and a breath of fresh air)
  
• Day of the Dove (ending's a bit OTT, but more than the sum of its parts)
  
• Errand of Mercy (did the Organians need to be powerful glowing balls of light? That aside...)
  
• Space Seed (watch for the philosophical slant as well as Khan's hairdo)
  
• The Mark of Gideon (more than the sum of its parts, but some parts are just nonsensical)
