List Only! Last Star Trek Episode You Watched

Season 3, episode 3, Discovery, People of Earth..

... and Titan.

Our Man Bashir - DS9 I never really liked this character.

Me either, he was certainly my least favorite character. I liked him and O'Brien as a pair, though.

And his mirror universe double was just boring. Why couldn't they have spared Mr. Rules of Obedience Odo and wiped out Scruffy Bashir early on?

Star Trek: The Original Series - "The Cage"

After assuming it was only available for streaming on Netflix, I saw the other day that is on CBS All Access, so gave it another watch.

Fitting. Beginings and endings.

ENT- Minefield

Two moments that struck me:

<Archer and Reed are on the hull deck, disarming that mine>
ARCHER: So, where were we?
REED: Sir?
ARCHER: This morning, at breakfast, before we were interrupted. You said you didn't follow any particular sport.
REED: Well, I'm afraid I haven't started following one since breakfast, sir.

Also:

REED: <...> Start with the topmost component. Use the caliper to lift it a few millimetres and then turn it clockwise three hundred and sixty degrees, and then gently reinsert it. <...>
<Archer is then seen merrily turning that component counterclockwise >

... I suppose they were just really lucky, especially after that earlier Reed warning that disarming a mine was 'extremely delicate business' :)

Ent- Dead Stop

Wondering now if that was meant as a metaphor for some of the megacorporation chains we have today. Some of them give great service at a low price, but it may cost some of the soul of your local community...

... naah, that's probably just nonsense :)

Gentle reminder...discussion/reviews/questions should go in the home forum of the show. I'm sure there's an Enterprise rewatch thread or some such thing.

Thanks!

"People of Earth" - Star Trek: Discovery

Fairly solid outing, outside the beginning and the trite ending.
