DS9: Sons of Mogh. SPOILERS AHEAD!

It was a good episode until that ending. Without warning or consent, Worf and Bashir erase Kurn's memory and identity shortly after he passed out drunk. One of the most disturbing and unethical moments in Star Trek, putting shame on Worf and also Bashir who had established a reputation as a principled doctor before. How can you take a doctor seriously who talks about ethics but erases a person's identity without their knowledge? He must have been aware that if asked, Kurn would very likely have opposed, so presumably he erases him against his will. I wonder how Bashir reconciled this with his Hippocratic Oath.

One of the first questions from either Dax or Odo should have been "What do you use this antimatter reactor for? It's leaking energetic particles that can be detected millions of kilometers into space."
Was there a cut line where they are told it's used to power replicator systems to provide water, food, clothing and other materials? Also where did they all come from? There's no apparent roads or vehicles of any kind and no other known inhabitants of the planet. Where did the protector get his handy magical scanner?

After finding a derelict ship with it's crew recently killed the first order of business upon returning should have been to post security and MACOs in all of the critical areas of the ship. I guess this is Archer learning on the job again.
