List Only! Last Star Trek Episode You Watched

TOS "Return of the Archons" on MeTV.
One odd nit to pick. At the beginning Sulu gets beamed up after being absorbed and declares that he's wearing the wrong clothes. The clothes of the Archons. That look late 1700s style. Instead of the late 1800s style the planet people wear. If the entire planet's civilization has been stagnant with no creativity for dozens of centuries. Who is creating the newer styles of clothing?

TNG - Eye Of The Beholder. I found it pretty decent overall but can't really rate it any better than just an average episode. Not a very memorable one either, despite seeing it before at some point I could barely remember a thing about it. Sort of cool to see inside the nacelles though I guess, so that's something pretty neat, I think that's probably the only time in there on TNG?

EDIT: I'll take that out in case it spoils anyone who may not have seen this actually. Let's just say there is a certain line in the episode which made me laugh unintentionally.

TNG's Home Soil. A lot worse than I remembered. Lots of standing around on the bridge, staring at a bunch of lights. I also noticed a plothole for the first time:
Spoilers: If the alien organisms are only intelligent in large numbers (in that saline water layer), how come those couple of 'cells' on the Enterprise are already able to communicate with Picard & co?

"The Trouble with Tribbles" - TOS Blu-ray remastered.
"More Tribbles, More Troubles" - TAS, from the TOS Blu-ray.
"Trials and Tribble-ations" - DS9, from the TOS Blu-ray.

TNG - Genesis. I was sort of looking forward to this one working through season 7. It might be complete scientific nonsense behind the premise but that didn't bother me. I actually enjoyed it quite alot, must've been in the right mood to watch. Even if the story is nonsensical overall, the first half of the episode is good fun seeing everyone showing their first signs of being affected, and the forboding atmosphere as the show went on was really nicely done. The ending reset is very jarring considering what they went through but nevermind it could have been alot worse.

And yes I did jump, I was expecting it but it still got me. :P

I've started a TNG rewatch, so in the last several days it's been Encounter at Farpoint, The Naked Now (doesn't come close to TOS' The Naked Time), Code of Honor ("Then you shall have no treaty, no vaccine, and no Lieutenant Yar!" - Ugh!) and The Last Outpost (I much prefer the DS9 incarnation of the Ferengi). No where to go but up!

I'm also doing a slow TOS rewatch where I blog about it. This weekend I should hopefully get a post up about The Ultimate Computer.

Enterprise "Borderland" (OK), "Bounty" (underwhelming), "Cold Station 12" (good) and "The Augments" (underwhelming)
And "The Expanse" (good)
And "The Xindi" (underwhelming), "Twilight" (good), "Similitude" (underwhelming) and "Carpenter Street" (disappointing)
