List Only! Last Star Trek Episode You Watched

The remastered version of The Enemy Within (TOS) on television and When the Bough Breaks (TNG) and Homesoil (TNG) on DVD.

Friday night: "Obsession" and "Wolf in the Fold," both TOS, both kinda meh. My son was making fun of the corniness of both eps, something he rarely does with TOS. We find ourselves skipping around season two a lot this TOS rewatch. Probably could have skipped both of these easily. What was with Scotty and the demented grin of lust at the beginning of "Wolf?" Jeez...

Today: TNG "The Ensigns of Command" and "Who Watches The Watchers?" Enjoyed both a ton. The kids won't watch TNG with me anymore because they feel "Nemesis" ruined TNG for them because of the infamous death. I said just act as if the TNG movies never happened, that's what I do, LOL!

TOS: Space Seed (w/Khan). My stepdaughter and I had seen ST2 recently and we both wanted to see the TOS episode that had preceded it. It was a good episode though I did wonder why Khan didn't try to take the Enterprise again after Kirk had foiled his attempt and accepted resettlement of him and his crew on Ceti Alpha 5 relatively passively. Also, I wonder why exactly Kirk didn't think that leaving him on Ceti Alpha 5 might end up becoming a problem eventually (as Spock observes), at least without some kind of Federation supervision? They would've had to realize that a group of malevolent genetically-engineered might eventually figure some way to get off the planet and cause trouble for the Federation (which they ultimately did). OTOH I'm not sure what other options Kirk might have had other than retrieving the Botany Bay and sending them back into stasis- though I'm not sure that would've worked. I guess sometimes there are no perfect solutions to difficult problems like that.

I watched Far Beyond the Stars and Waltz last night. Have been craving some DS9 this week and I hadn't seen Season 6 in a long while.

This morning:

"The Omega Glory"

Readining "Final Destiny" for the umpteenth time!

I'll never, ever watch The Omega Glory again. It always pisses me off. It starts so promisingly, and is total farce by the end. I'd actually rate it lower than the absolute worst Voyager episode.
