That would be fine and all if it weren’t called “writing” and “acting.” The scene was consciously constructed by professional writers. It was then acted out as instructed and edited accordingly. That is all.
In that case, it comes down to taste.
Um, have you read this thread or even the article that is the first post? Other people feel the same or at least a similar way.
Yes, I have. I understand that a number of people, aside from yourself, are rather offended. I'm not ignoring those who are offended (or at least want a good reason as to why).
Read my posts. Once again, it’s not the fact that she’s in a bra and panties. It’s how the scene played out. And yes, Mr. Lindelof should have apologized. After watching that movie, I think they should all apologize, but that’s a topic for another thread.
Eh, while I understand you're offended, I can't quite get the apologizing thing to stick. Now, something like "I should have presented both of them equally," that would be okay.
Bob the Skutter, in another thread, mentioned something like that as an idea.
Now you just make no sense and sound emotional. I have nothing against you J.Allen, so I’m going to walk away from having this discussion with you before things get out of hand. You may have the last word if you like. Good day.
That's not emotional, that's my being a smartass.
However, that said, I would like to jump off of my high horse, for a minute, and offer you an apology. I'm being a "bit of a knob," as it was told to me in another thread, and that person's evaluation is absolutely correct. I can be stubborn; too stubborn, and sometimes my mouth gets in the way of my brain, so I do apologize for being a bit of a knob.
I will say this, though; when I want to be a smartass, I tend to use my whole ass.
