I just remembered, I had a strange dream about the Doctor's death about a month or so ago. I dreamed that the Doctor had little ant-like nanites crawling on him and they tried to pull him apart, molecule by molecule. He started to turn into a bunch of particles but then he lit on fire and regenerated. I guess since all of his molecules were engulfed in the Regen fire he could still regenerate...but you know how flakey science can be in NuWho.

Actually 7 wasn't killed by being shot. The doctors at the hospital he was rushed to accidently killed him.
