Contest: VOTE Let There Be Light! November's art challenge - please vote

November's Art Challenge was to light up the dark (particularly after Hallowe'en) whether literally or metaphorically, and we had three delightful entries (sorry, sorry... ) that did just that. So please warm up your voting finger and select your favourite - you have three days to cast your votes!

In order of appearance:

I went with Orac because I like thinking out of the box, such as the animation.

I would have liked more detail on the starship...great idea and love it as a rough drawing sketch

Went with @Orac / @Spirit of Christmas Yet to Come as well. The idea is just too funny.

Looks like we have a tie. @Orac, in the interest of getting the next contest started I'm happily forfeiting the win to you. Do you have an idea for the next one? Can you post the new thread?

If we subscribe to the challenge thread, and we get a couple of posts with the vote link, and then remInder to vote...that would help (at least for me)

Maybe it's just because I try to not take these votings so seriously anyway, but I think three or four days for the voting is plenty of time. I'd rather have more time to work on the entries than wait for the voting to end. But I think posting a reminder about the voting still going on or coming to an end soon is actually a pretty good idea and I will try to do that for future votings.
