Leonard Nimoy Passes Away

Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels..
His was the most.....human. Spock said there were always....possibilities. Space..the final frontier these are the voyages of the starship..Enterprise. Her mission to explore strange new worlds to seek out new life and civilizations...
To boldy go where no man has gone....before.

He always was, and always shall be....my friend.

Rest in Peace Mr.Nimoy, may your travels through the Galactic Barrier be...fascinating!

Well not much I can say that hasn't been said.

Tonight I'll light up my model of the refit USS Enterprise NCC-1701 which, fittingly, has a plaque with TWOK logo attached to the base, for 83 minutes.

Hope Leonard can see or feel it in someway.

Very sad news, Spock was my favorite Star Trek character, he was in many ways always the outsider and I could indentify with that. :(

Very sad news. Another legend from our youth has passed away.
Watching Star Trek will never quite be the same again. He will be missed.
Prayers to his family and friends.

Leonard Nimoy was a first class actor and first class human being. A very special man who will be missed by millions, and especially by his biggest fans on here. My thoughts are with his family, and you guys, my fellow posters on this very sad day.

LLAP.

Losing Leonard hits me as hard as a family member's passing would. I've been a fan and Trekkie for over 20 years, since I was a little kid. An idol of mine is gone from the universe, and the void will never be refilled.

I am sad, devastated. Ever since I was 10 years old in 1973 and began watching Star Trek and Spock was my favorite character. I thank Mr. Nimoy for the hours of entertainment and inspiration. You will never be forgotten.

He was one of the great iconic screen figures of my childhood. I congratulate him on a life well led. I thank him for the performances that will always be etched in my memory.

Goodbye, Spock.

Rest in peace, Leonard Nimoy.

I know how you feel. I've been a fan and Trekkie for all of my 45 years.

Of course, we still have Zac Quinto but yeah, it just isn't the same.

Sadly I never knew Leonard Nimoy, but I've known Mister Soock as a constant for forty-five years.

I'll miss him.

Long Live And Prosper the spirit of Leonard Nimoy "Mr. Spock"
RIP :(

I watched the premier of ST on Sept 8 1966, sitting at my Father's side; I was 11 yrs old and Spock became one of my Heroes in that moment.
The show's moral center help shaped my thinking and broaden my views of the world and our place in it growing up.
-- I, like all of us here, fell in love with this show, through every incarnation.

You Will Be Missed

Quote:

“To this day, I sense Vulcan speech patterns, Vulcan social attitudes and even Vulcan patterns of logic and emotional suppression in my behavior,” Mr. Nimoy wrote years after the original series ended. But that wasn’t such a bad thing, he discovered. “Given the choice,” he wrote, “if I had to be someone else, I would be Spock.” - Leonard Nimoy
